Introducing GO Magnesium 1-A-DAY: the miracle mineral

01.01.2013

Magnesium is wonderful for supporting relaxation because it soothes muscle tension and tightness.

There’s no wonder medical professionals often refer to Magnesium as the ‘miracle mineral’!  Perhaps it’s because Magnesium is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions in our bodies everyday!  It helps maintain normal muscle and nerve function, keeps our heart rhythm steady, supports a healthy immune system, and keeps our bones strong. Add to that, Magnesium helps regulate blood sugar levels, and metabolises energy… and you can begin to understand why this is such a vital mineral to the human body. But, like many nutrients, when the body is under stress due to poor dietary intake, alcohol, excessive exercise or stressful lifestyles… we can become deficient.

Introducing GO Magnesium 1-A-Day; a high strength, easy to take 1-a-day supplement which contains 500mg of elemental Magnesium per capsule. Sourced from seawater, this natural marine Magnesium contains no Magnesium oxide, giving it superior absorption to the body, as well as being gentle on the digestive tract, making GO Magnesium 1-A-Day the perfect way of ensuring you get your recommended daily intake of this vital mineral to keep you at your best!

In an easy to take 1-a-day dose, GO Magnesium soothes muscle tension and tightness and supports relaxation both physically and mentally.

SIGNS & SYMPTOMS OF A MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCY

Magnesium regulates the body's nerve and muscle tone.  Common symptoms of Magnesium deficiency include muscle tightness, tension, weakness, eye twitching and difficulty sleeping. Magnesium was featured on the successful television programme, Is Modern Medicine Killing You.

As we age, our Magnesium requirements increase.  Women need approximately 310 mg of magnesium each day, while men need about 400 mg of magnesium daily, according to the National Institutes of Health Office of Dietary Supplements. After the age of 30, magnesium requirements increase to 420 mg for men and 320 for women. Magnesium-rich foods include dark, leafy, green vegetables, soy products, whole grains, nuts, bananas and beans.
